  • Publication number: 20070090712
Abstract: One aspect of the invention is a generator with at least two commutators mounted on a rotatable shaft. At least two magnetically conductive bars may be mounted in an opposed relationship with at least one of the bars passing through a wire coil. At least two magnets may also be mounted in an opposed relationship. The bars and magnets may be mounted such that they extend between the commutators. In various positions, a magnetic field passes through the two commutators, one of the bars and one of the magnets. The magnet field in the bars changes due to rotation of the shaft and current is induced into the wire coil.

  • Patent number: 7112084
Abstract: A computer system is provided with a chassis at least partially defining an interior and an access opening. The computer system is also provided with an interface connector mounted within or adjacent to the chassis and oriented to face the interior of the chassis. A circuit board assembly is configured for insertion into and removal from the interior of the chassis through the access opening and along an insertion axis, wherein the circuit board assembly has a connector oriented for engagement with the interface connector. The computer system also includes a mounting assembly positioned to facilitate engagement of the connector of the circuit board assembly to the interface connector along a connection access angled with respect to the insertion axis.

  • Patent number: 6155644
Abstract: An apparatus for allowing pivotal movement of a top portion of a seat relative to a bottom portion, is provided. The apparatus includes a mounting bracket, a fixed portion, and a rack portion. The mounting bracket is mounted to the bottom portion of the seat. The fixed portion has a plurality of fixed portion teeth extending from the fixed portion base and is mounted to the mounting bracket. The rack portion has a plurality of base portion teeth extending from the base portion towards the fixed portion. The end portion of the rack portion is pivotally connected to the top portion. An engaging member is pivotally connected to the mounting bracket. The engaging member moves the rack portion in a direction generally toward the rack portion and to lock the rack portion and the fixed portion in an engaged relationship in response to movement of a handle in one direction. A disengaging member is pivotally connected to the mounting bracket.

  • Patent number: 6129400
Abstract: A center console member for a vehicle seating assembly is provided. The console member includes a first compartment member, a second compartment member and a lid member. The first compartment member is formed in the shape of a container having an open bottom and a partially open top. The second compartment member is formed in the shape of a container having an open top. The second compartment member is pivotably coupled to the first compartment member and overlies the partially open top when placed in a closed position. The lid member is coupled to the second compartment member and overlies the open top when placed in a closed position. Additional storage cavities may be incorporated into the console member, including cavities in the top portion of the first compartment member or in the front or rear sidewalls of the first compartment member.
