  • Publication number: 20240093862
Abstract: A lighting device may include an elongated housing that defines a cavity. The lighting device may include plurality of emitter printed circuit boards configured to be received within the cavity. Each of the plurality of emitter printed circuit boards may include a plurality of emitter modules mounted thereto. Each of the plurality of emitter printed circuit boards may include a control circuit configured to control the plurality of emitter modules mounted to the respective emitter printed circuit board based on receipt of one or more messages. The lighting device may include a total internal reflection lens for each of the plurality of emitter printed circuit boards. The total internal reflection lens may be configured to diffuse light emitted by the emitter modules of the plurality of emitter printed circuit boards.

  • Patent number: 11697181
Abstract: Structures for a tool surface of a downhole tool are constructed from a metal clay molded in a wet state. The wet state clay is a workable combination that can have a braze alloy grain, a tungsten carbide grain, and a binder. Additional cutting inserts can be embedded in the molded clay. Heat treatment applied to the molded metal clay causing the binder to be combusted and consumed. The braze alloy melts and then cools into a fused state with the tungsten carbide grain therein. The structure can affix to the tool surface of the tool by first being fused and then attached by brazing to the tool. Alternatively, the structure can be positioned in a fusible state adjacent the tool surface. When the heat treatment is applied, the structure fuses together and forms a metallurgical bond with the tool surface of the tool.

  • Patent number: 9028178
Abstract: Material removal tool (100), such as for forming surfaces of valve seats, includes an integral or separable reduced diameter circumferential insert housing (106) including a plurality of inserts (120) bonded thereto. The plurality of inserts (120) include cutting surfaces (122) at different axial and radial positions relative to the axis (112) of the material removal tool (100). Cutting surfaces (122) at different axial and radial positions are arranged at different angles to the axis (112), and at least one cutting surface (122) on at least one insert is at an angle of about 45 degrees relative to the axis (112). Cutting surfaces (122) can be located on one insert-type or different insert-types and can have different combinations of cutting surfaces (122). When arranged circumferentially on the insert housing (106), a N-effective material removal tool (100) is formed. Methods of machining using the N-effective material removal tool (100) is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5391027
Abstract: A machine tool system includes a clamping unit installable on the head of a cutting machine, and a tool holder insertable into the clamping unit. The clamping unit includes an annular guide member and a sleeve telescoped onto the guide member. A flat drive key is positioned in an axial slot in the sleeve to establish a driving connection between the clamping unit and the tool holder. The tool holder is wedged into the clamping unit by means of radially-movable wedge lock elements and an axially movable drawbar.

  • Patent number: 5148609
Abstract: An adjusting locator to adjust the axial position of a cutting insert in a cutting tool to eliminate cutting run out. The locator is comprised of a body, a flex flange substantially parallel to the body and spaced from the body by an adjusting groove. The flange is connected to the body by a bridge, which is defined between the adjusting groove and a flex groove whereby the flange flexes using the bridge as the fulcrum of the flex.
