  • Patent number: 10912472
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for identifying one or more areas of the heart muscle responsible for supporting or initiating abnormal heart rhythms using electrogram data recorded from a plurality of electrodes obtained from a corresponding series of sensing locations on the heart over a recording time period; the method including the steps of: setting a pre-defined geodesic distance, dividing the recording time period into several analysis time periods, and pairing each sensing location with a plurality of other sensing locations from within the defined geodesic distance, thus forming a plurality of location pairings; for each of the analysis time periods, defining the relative timing of each activation signal for each location within each pairing, determining whether the relative timing of activation signals falls within plausible biological parameters, defining the leading signal of the pair for each electrogram activation within the respective analysis time period; and assigning a series of lea

  • Patent number: 9154985
Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for facilitating dynamic and segment-based monitoring of cellular network performance. In one embodiment and by way of example, a method includes dividing a cellular network path of a cellular network into a plurality of network segments, and monitoring performance of the cellular network at a first network segment of the plurality of network segments. The first network segment is associated with a first segment point includes a first computing device. The method may further includes generating first metrics based on first monitoring data relating to the first network segment, and forwarding the first metrics to a second segment point coupled with the first segment point over the first network segment. The second segment point includes a second computing device.

  • Publication number: 20050035022
Abstract: A cover mountable on a support frame for protecting a frangible item mounted within the frame is disclosed. The cover has first and second cover portions engaging the frame on opposite sides of the item. A hinge connects first ends of the covers together and a releasable fastener connects the other ends. Fingers extend from one or both of the cover portions toward the opposite cover portion and are positioned in spaced relation to the ends of the cover portions. The fingers and the ends of the cover portions define spaces at opposite ends of the cover which receive and engage portions of the support frame. The fingers are in spaced relation to one another and define a space between them for receiving the frangible item. The fingers are sized and spaced so that they transfer any force on the cover to the frame exclusively. The covers have an arcuate shape to provide increased stiffness.

  • Publication number: 20030204926
Abstract: An operating handle (1) for devices, particularly for cleaning devices, such as wiping devices, mops, brooms, or the like. The operating handle (1) has at least a first and a second tubular handle element (2, 2′) which are able to be joined to one another. The tubular handle elements (2, 2′) form a hollow space (5). A connecting link (4, 4′) is provided for connecting the first and the second handle element (2, 2′). The connecting link (4, 4′) extends at least partially into the hollow space (5) formed by the handle elements (2, 2′). A first connecting segment (6) and a second connecting segment (7) are provided. The first connecting segment (6) is designed to connect to the first handle element (2), and the second connecting segment (7) is designed to connect to the second handle element (2′).

  • Mop
    Patent number: 6253408
Abstract: A mop to be fastened at the end of a mop handle, including a holding device to which a number of relatively mobile, absorbent strips made of a textile material are fixed essentially transversely to the axis of the handle. At least one spring body is provided, which causes the strips to spread apart, at least in the region of the holding device.
