  • Patent number: 7865649
Abstract: The invention relates to a module for reproducing a transmitter signal (xactE). A control device (1) is coupled to a driving device (4a) for controlling a machine while being coupled to the module (5, 5?) via a data bus (7) for exchanging data. A reproduced transmitter signal (xactEn) is determined from a reference value (xdes) that is predefined by the control device with the aid of the module (5, 5?). The module (5, 5?) is logically coupled to the control device (1) via the data bus (7) in such a way that the module (5, 5?) is projected in the same way as the driving device (4a) from the perspective of the control device (1). The inventive module (5, 5?) for reproducing a transmitter signal (xactE) thus makes it possible to project, start, and adjust the dynamics of the machine in a simple manner.

  • Patent number: 7826946
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for monitoring the state of vehicle chassis, particularly of rail vehicles, whereby physical quantities are measured on the chassis by means of sensors. The measured and optionally processed quantities are compared with modeled quantities by means of a processing unit. The modeled quantities are determined from specific quantities, a classification into classes of causes is performed on the basis of the comparison by means of one or the processing unit, and an evaluation is carried out based on the classification. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method.

  • Patent number: 7814176
Abstract: A system for satisfying a request from a client for a send-then-commit transaction includes a front-end information management system (IMS) server. Shared message queues (SMQ) communicate with the front-end IMS server and plural back-end IMS. The front-end IMS server receives the request from the client and transmits the request to the SMQ. A back-end IMS server accesses the SMQ and generates a transaction output in response to the request. The back-end IMS server transmits the result to the front-end IMS server and the front-end IMS server interfaces with the client to communicate the response thereto. The back-end IMS server and front-end IMS server operate in separate system images, but work together in a resource recovery services (RRS) environment to commit or backout the transaction output.

  • Publication number: 20100206288
Abstract: A grate plate arrangement for stepped reciprocating grates includes a box-like grate plate with a front plate fastened to a front wall in the direction of conveyance. Means for adjusting a motion gap between the front end of the grate plate and the following grate plate in the direction of conveyance which forms the next grate step includes a separate adjustment plate, which is non-positively clamped between the front plate and the front wall of the grate plate. The adjustment plate is calibrated with the front plate still only loosely assembled, in its vertical position that forms the motion gap, and is held in this position by clamping the front plate. A clamping bolt for clamping the grate plate on a grate carrier can be arranged such that the clamping bolt aligns with a fixing bolt for the front plate so that the clamping bolt can be actuated though access openings for this fixing bolt.
