Publication number: 20150118051Abstract: An improved wind sail receptor for turning in a wind flow to turn an axle that operates a generator to produce an electrical power output for performing work. With the improved wind sail receptor blade design and the inclusion of a unique shape of nose cone fitted over a forward end of a housing that the wind sail receptor is journaled to, the wind sail receptor provides for a nearly one hundred percent utilization of the entering wind flow energy to turn the wind sail receptor blades. This near perfect wind energy utilization is provided by the structure of the blades leading and trailing edges along with the blades uniform curvature between leading and trailing edges that is from seventy to seventy eight degrees of arc and the nose cone configuration, whereby a turbulence free wind flow passed off of the blades trailing edge is at a approximately a forty five degree angle to the entering wind flow.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2013Publication date: April 30, 2015Inventor: Richard A. Patent number: 8603377Abstract: A process and method for retreading a heavy duty tire with a polyurethane tread where, after a tire carcass is inspected, cleaned and the worn tire tread is removed, the tire carcass receives a tube fitted therein and is installed in a mold cavity, between top and bottom mold rings. The mold rings each include spaced segments that inter-digitate and will form equal spaced tread voids in a finished recapped tire. The bottom mold ring inner edge top includes a continuous sealing lug, and the top ring is open to pass a flow of polyurethane materials, that is received off of a lower edge of a cone shaped spreader positioned onto the tire carcass top side wall and slides, as a sheet, into the mold, filling the mold cavity from bottom to top, forcing air from the mold ahead of the fill and forming the recapped tire tread.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2012Date of Patent: December 10, 2013Assignee: AmerityreInventors: Richard A. Patent number: 7527489Abstract: A vacuum forming apparatus for forming a tire, wheel, or other item in a mold having a cavity with the shape of the item to be cast that is contained in the apparatus. The vacuum forming apparatus utilizes a bell shaped outer cover arranged to seal along its lower edge to a mold base plate, and includes a canister maintained under a deep vacuum and arranged in or connected to the apparatus as a reservoir to receive a mixture of urethane constituents, with the deep vacuum removing air from that mixture, and the air free mixture is passed through a valve and into the mold cavity. A low level vacuum is pulled through a vent valve in the bell shaped outer cover to pull the flow of urethane material through the cavity, filling the mold. With the cavity filled, the canister valve is shut and the vent valve in the bell shaped outer cover is closed, allowing the urethane material in the mold cavity to cure, and the mold is broken open and the cast item is removed from the cavity.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2006Date of Patent: May 5, 2009Assignee: AmerityreInventor: Richard A.
