The optical element is configured to redirect an illumination from the illumination source toward an occupant position in an automobile.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a log cabin structure using logs with multi-beveled interlocking notches located at the end of each log. The interlocking notches serve to form a tight locking connection at the cornering of the structure where the logs overlap one another. The interlocking notches are composed substantially of heartwood, which serves to reduce settlement and maintain a tight connection over time. The measurements for the interlocking notches are a function of the dimensions of the logs used. The log cabin structure may further employ anti-settling blocks which are disposed between the logs of the structure. In the preferred embodiment, the anti-settling blocks are positioned in aligned recesses which are present in the logs that compose the structure. Accordingly, the presence of the interlocking-notch cornering system and the anti-settling blocks combine to minimize the negative effects of settling on the structure while providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Abstract: A process for forming parabolic micro-reflectors on an object includes the steps of placing the object proximate to a transfer lens system, shining a laser beam through the lens system, a mask and a wobble plate and onto the object, the wobble plate wobbling the laser beam such that a parabolic shaped micro-reflector is formed on the object.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an engine primer bulb assembly having a base, a primer bulb and a retaining ring for securing the primer bulb to the base. The retaining ring is self-locking and provides a circumferential force against the bulb to seal it with the base to provide a primer chamber.

Abstract: A floatless carburetor with a fuel reservoir in communication with the carburetor throttle bore includes an integral primer system which is operable to introduce fuel directly into both the carburetor throttle bore and the fuel reservoir. A plurality of check valves control flow of fuel from the fuel tank into the primer system and into the throttle bore and fuel reservoir. The carburetor and primer system are adapted to be operated in conjunction with an impulse-type fuel pump, wherein the primer system is operable to manually pump fuel into the reservoir when the fuel pump is not functioning.

Abstract: A resilient strap assembly for securing and carrying mail or similar articles in a stacked arrangement.
