    Abstract: A carrier assembly for transporting one or more hand trucks includes a platform having an upper surface configured to support a hand truck, a mount configured to couple the platform to a vehicle such that the upper surface of the platform is positioned to support the hand truck at a first elevation, a support extending generally perpendicular to the upper surface of the platform, and a retainer extending generally parallel to the upper surface of the platform. The support and retainer are each configured to restrict a movement of the hand truck when the hand truck is supported at the first elevation. The retainer is moveable between an engaged configuration and a disengaged configuration.
