Abstract: A dolly to, inter alia, provide load support to a tractor trailer rig in which the dolly may be selectively attached to the tractor or the trailer as a means of engaging a second trailer. A coupling assembly in which the engaging vehicle, whether tractor or trailer, includes a transverse locking bar disposed at an acute angle to the direction of movement, which is selectively coupled to the dolly having a plate disposed at substantially a same acute angle as the transverse locking bar, wherein the plate includes a channel adapted to receive the locking bar, and the dolly having an air bag suspension system engaged with the air system of the tractor, wherein the pumping up of the air bag suspension system secures the locking bar in the channel.

Abstract: An enclosed fluid drive system for cycling the beams in a reciprocating floor between a reset position and a delivery position wherein an array of fluid motors engages the beams for moving the same and the fluid drive system includes an exhaust system wherein the various fluid motors are sequentially exhausted to move the beams from their delivery position to a reset position in sequence. The fluid motors each include a piston and a piston rod which is slidably supported within a passage in an end cap at one end of the motor cylinder. Each end cap and piston rod together form an integral part of the exhaust system which allows the fluid motors to be sequentially exhausted.

Abstract: In a walking floor having a plurality of floor beams to support a load, and being longitudinally reciprocal to move the load longitudinally to an unloaded condition, and being supported by a transverse subfloor, having guides to control movement of the floor beams, and bearing/seal devices mounted to the subfloor and in bearing and sealing contact with the floor beams to prevent material that is part of the load supported by the floor beams from migrating below the floor beams.
