  • Publication number: 20220305341
Abstract: A practice wall for sports having a plurality of panels arranged in a series of rows and columns. The columns are joined by hinges such that the columns can be folded to create various profiles which will cause a ball to reflect differently depending on the goals of the athlete. In one embodiment the panels can be readily disassembled so the wall can be temporarily erected, stored, and reassembled. In some embodiments the inventive practice wall can be fitted with instrumentation to provide objective performance data to the athlete or a coach.

  • Patent number: 8473130
Abstract: The invention is directed to a foldable electric bicycle with power assist having a front portion attached to a rear portion via a central pivot post. The front portion maintains a steering column, handle bar system and a front wheel assembly having a front wheel and an electric power train. The rear portion includes a rear connecting arm to maintain the rear wheel. The central pivot post includes a first end that connects with the front portion and a second end which connects with the rear portion. A peddle assembly connects below the central pivot post and communicates with the rear wheel through a drive chain. A rechargeable battery capable of providing electricity to the electric power train is shaped to fit within a cavity and is located within the central pivot post. The rechargeable battery is positioned proximate the user so as to vertically align with the user's girth.

  • Publication number: 20120186273
Abstract: The invention is directed to a produce chamber having an outer housing with a first panel, a second panel, and a base plate inter-dispersed between both panels. A door is placed between both panels to deposit and remove produce. Positioned within the first panel is a refrigeration system, which includes both ammonium absorption (AAF) system and a Peltier thermoelectric plate (TE) system. The AAF system includes a contact plate which communicates with a series of ducts having a first and second channel. The first channel circulates ammonia, while the second draws and then cools outside air for introduction into the produce chamber. The TE system is positioned proximate the contact plate to afford additional cooling, which has a plurality of parallel thermoelectric plates. A digital controller operates both the AAAF and TEC systems. Such controller also operates a scrubber, which includes zeolite powder, to remove ethylene.
