    Abstract: A latchset for a sliding pocket door, the latch being actuated by depressing a handbar on either the inside or outside of the door to rotate the latch member relative to a keeper member located in the door frame, the latchset having cam members to transfer rotation from the handbar axles to the latch axle. The latchset may be provided with locksets of differing mechanisms whereby the door may be locked to the outside.
