  • Publication number: 20240191983
Abstract: A sensor system and a method of operating a sensor system including a plurality of sensors tracking a moving object in an area having known bounding surfaces. The apparatus and method calculate a time-specific position of the object based on data and sensor parameters from at least two of the plurality of sensors and determine errors between the calculated time-specific positions calculated. The method and apparatus calculate a minimum system error attributable to the at least two sensors by constraining at least one dimension in the data of the sensor used in the calculated time-specific position of the object associated with the sensor, the constraining based on an object/surface interaction, the minimum system error calculated by solving for modified sensor parameters for each sensor.

  • Publication number: 20240191589
Abstract: A tubing hanger assembly includes a tubing hanger body, a downward facing load shoulder which is axially displaceable relative to the body, and first and second inclined surfaces which are configured to engage each other. One of the first and second inclined surfaces has a fixed axial position relative to the body and the other of the first and second inclined surfaces has a fixed axial position relative to the load shoulder. The first and second inclined surfaces are configured such that rotation of one of the first and second inclined surfaces relative to the other of the first and second inclined surfaces results in axial displacement of the load shoulder relative to the body.

  • Publication number: 20240192358
Abstract: The present application is directed to a video-based motion extraction system that uses mmWave imaging. In one example, an object velocity is extracted in real time from at least one motion vector obtained from a compressed video. The velocity information is combined with distance information obtained from a distance sensor. The combination of distance and velocity is used to calculate a position of the object at each time instance. A velocity profile may be generated. The velocity profile may then be used to reconstruct an image of an object passing in front of an mmWave antenna array.

  • Publication number: 20240191634
Abstract: A machine is cleaned by directing a foam detergent into the machine to remove contaminants from inside the machine. An effluent portion of the foam detergent exits from the machine with some of the contaminants. One or more of a turbidity, a salinity, an amount of total dissolved solids, or a concentration of the contaminants in the effluent is measured. A cleaning time period during which the foam detergent is to be directed into the machine is determined based on the turbidity, the salinity, the amount of total dissolved solids, and/or the contaminant concentration that is measured from the effluent. The foam detergent continues to be directed into the machine during the cleaning time period, and the flow of the foam detergent into the machine is terminated on expiration of the time period.

  • Publication number: 20240192776
Abstract: An apparatus and method for a pre-trained brain machine interface based on brain state data is disclosed. An initial session of determining brain state data during performance of a task by a subject at a first time is conducted. The brain state data correlated with task performance are recorded. A pre-training set of the brain state data is assembled. A decoder module of the brain machine interface system is pre-trained via the pre-training set of the recorded brain state data to decode intentions of the subject correlated with brain state. A current session is conducted at a second time subsequent to the first time. The current session includes the decoder module accepting a brain state data input of the brain of the subject, decoding a brain state output from the brain state data input, and generating a control signal to perform the task based on the determined brain state output.

  • Publication number: 20240193100
Abstract: A computer implemented method handles object references. A computer system determines whether an object reference fetched by a load instruction has an expected value for heap protection for a heap in response to receiving the load instruction for execution. The computer system generates an event in response to the object reference not being the expected value, wherein the event is used to manage the object reference. According to other illustrative embodiments, a computer system and a computer program product for managing object references are provided. As a result, the illustrative embodiments can prevent a load instruction from loading an invalid object reference that does not point to a memory location in a heap.
