  • Publication number: 20240341862
Abstract: OR computing system monitoring is described including self-monitoring and monitoring, with or without intervention, via a monitoring computing system. For a patient procedure in an OR, positions of one or more objects are tracked using sensors. Intra-operative data including pose information is communicated (e.g. in real time) to a monitoring computing system to present the intra-operative data including object positions in a GUI. Pose information may be sensor data with which to calculate a pose of an object or pre-calculated pose data. Intra-operative data may be a workflow state of the procedure to display workflow UI screens. A virtual view of the OR may be presented from pose information and geometric data for OR equipment. Working volumes of OR equipment including collision warning may be presented. OR equipment may include a localizer and/or a robot. Self-monitoring may evaluate progress in a procedure and trigger a request (e.g. to monitor).

  • Patent number: 12053273
Abstract: Systems and methods provide registration of anatomical points of interest to a surgical navigation system using a camera only without a separate tracked probe. Graphical elements are overlaid on real time images of patient anatomy. Workflow directs the capture of image registration data (pose data) when the graphical elements are aligned. The graphical elements may represent positional features of the camera such as one or more axis positions.

  • Patent number: 12029505
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein to generate a 3D surface scan of a surface profile of a patient's anatomy. The 3D surface scan may be generated by reflections of structured light off the surface profile of the anatomy. The 3D surface scan may be used during intra-operative surgical navigation by a localization system. Optionally, a pre-operative medical image may also be registered to the localization system or used to enhance the 3D surface scan.

  • Publication number: 20240093466
Abstract: A mobile work machine is provided with a prime mover supported by a chassis, a first hydraulic pump driven by the prime mover, a work attachment powered by the prime mover, and a traction system. The traction system can include a ground engagement assembly for propelling the chassis. The mobile work machine can include an electronic controller configured to execute a traction speed control algorithm in which the position of the power reduction device is operated by the electronic controller to reduce available fluid pressure to a traction control device without receiving an actual traction speed feedback signal at the electronic controller. Alternatively, or in addition, a commanded position of the power reduction control device can be calculated by the electronic controller as a function of a requested prime mover operating speed demand reduced by a calculated adjustment factor.

  • Patent number: 11896321
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for use in electronic guidance systems for surgical navigation. A sensor is provided with an optical sensor, to provide optical information, and a measuring sensor, to provide measurements for determining a direction of gravity. The sensor communicates optical information and measurements to an inter-operative computing unit. In an embodiment, the inter-operative computing unit receives first optical information for a registration device and a patient anatomy and a measurement to determine a direction of gravity to perform a registration step. The inter-operative computing unit receives second optical information for the patient anatomy and an object and determines and presents measurements relative to the anatomy. The measurements relative to the anatomy are determined from the second optical information, and in relation to the registration of the anatomy of the patient.

  • Patent number: 11834287
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for improved turn-up procedures on a paper making machine that include a flexible portion of a turn-up tape track and movement of a track curve portion to avoid interference with threading a paper web to a spool. A transverse turn-up tape track may be extended across a first spool to a track curve and the track curve may be set at a lower position that does not interfere with a paper web during threading, and subsequently repositioned to a position from which a turn-up position may be performed. The paper web threading leader may continue to be wound around the first spool until a full width of the paper web has been spooled onto the first spool. The transverse turn-up tape track may be maintained essentially stationary relative to the first spool.

  • Patent number: 11826113
Abstract: Systems, methods and a sensor alignment mechanism are disclosed for medical navigational guidance systems. In one example, a system to make sterile a non-sterile optical sensor for use in navigational guidance during surgery includes a sterile drape having an optically transparent window to drape the optical sensor in a sterile barrier and a sensor alignment mechanism. The alignment mechanism secures the sensor through the drape in alignment with the window without breaching the sterile barrier and facilitates adjustment of the orientation of the optical sensor. The optical sensor may be aligned to view a surgical site when the alignment mechanism, assembled with the sterile drape and optical sensor, is attached to a bone. The alignment mechanism may be a lockable ball joint and facilitate orientation of the sensor in at least two degrees of freedom. A quick connect mechanism may couple the alignment mechanism to the bone.
