  • Patent number: 4218117
Abstract: A vibration isolating mounting arrangement for a sound accessory for a motion picture viewer is provided. The mounting arrangement includes an accessory mounting plate which precisely engages a portion of the viewer for locating the plate with respect to a film cassette receiving well in the top of the viewer. An audio component arrangement is provided which includes an audio transducer and means for advancing the audio tape past the transducer. These audio components are mounted to an audio component plate which is supported in overlying relationship with respect to the accessory mounting plate and the audio components carried thereby. The mounting between the two parallel plates is designed to effect vibration isolation between the plates, thus isolating the audio components carried by the upper plate from vibrations present in the viewer during its operational modes.

  • Patent number: 4200383
Abstract: A small, compact apparatus for processing individual rolls of an exposed composite self-developing transparency film structure. The apparatus includes two housings pivotally connected at one end to each other for movement from a film cassette loading position to a film processing position. The other end of each housing includes a recess for receiving the open end of a lighttight, linearly extendable chamber. Mounted within the housings is a pair of motor driven elongate rollers for spreading a processing liquid across the film to initiate the formation of visible images therein while simultaneously advancing the film from its cassette and into the lighttight chamber. The two housings and the open end of the chamber carry elements which, when the chamber is coupled in lighttight relation to the housings, function as a closed electrical switch located in series with the motor, thereby insuring that the film can be processed only when the lighttight chamber is properly coupled to the housings.

  • Patent number: 3967303
Abstract: An accessory attachment for use with a camera of the type having a frontal housing for an objective lens, a shutter mechanism, camera function-controlling devices such as photocells and shutter or control knobs or buttons, and having a socket for mounting a flashlamp. The attachment serves to mount accessories such as auxiliary portrait, wide-angle, or telephoto lenses, filter lenses for the camera's objective lens and photocell, auxiliary shutter or control knobs, and flash equipment, in operative relation to the corresponding elements of the camera. The attachment comprises a housing mounting the accessories, receivable against wall-forming means of the camera, and having hook elements engageable with an element of the wall means. A plug secured to the accessory attachment is slidably receivable in the flashlamp socket of the camera to cooperate with the hook elements in locating and securing the attachment.
