  • Publication number: 20160125533
Abstract: A method, market test system and computer program product simulate a live, reactive trading market to test an electronic trade strategy. An incoming historical market data feed is received and modified for re-execution. Securities orders are received from an electronic trade strategy and from the modified historical market data feed. Each securities order is tagged to identify a source of origin. Securities orders are executed according to a full market model of a target trading venue. The executed orders are analyzed to identify the source of origin. A price modification value is calculated based on executed orders originating from the electronic trade strategy. The price modification value is used to modify prices of securities orders in the incoming historical market data feed. The incoming historical data feed may be modified by removing “executes.” A configurable personality profile may be applied to alter behavior of the simulated trade market.

  • Publication number: 20070073547
Abstract: A method for determining the useful life of a vehicle includes a distribution process for estimating a size of at least one group of vehicles; a determining process for determining a size of a subgroup of the vehicles, wherein each vehicle of the subgroup has a common defect; and a calculating process for calculating a useful life based on the size of the subgroup and the size of the group.

  • Publication number: 20070006106
Abstract: The system and method disclosed here are directed to desensitization of paths to perturbations resulting from manufacturing faults. A threshold value for signal slew filters out some near-critical paths, and a mathematical formula is applied to determine the appropriate upsize for the cell driving the net along the near-critical path. The cell driving the net may be then be upsized in order to improve the timing through the cell, increase the positive slack, and reduce the sensitivity of the net to design perturbations.

  • Patent number: 6854216
Abstract: A self-storing telescoping seat assembly is disclosed which comprises rows of seating movable between a retracted position where the rows of seating are generally stacked on top of one another, to an extended position and a handrail assembly affixed to a corresponding row of seating in a single assembled position with respect to that row. The handrail assembly stays in the single assembled position as the rows move between the extended position and the retracted position. The handrail assembly can have a top handrail and a lower handrail which cooperate to form an opening, and the opening is preferably adapted to receive the front face of a deck of a row of seating when the rows of seating are in the retracted position. A front face can be formed by the rows of seating in the retracted position, and the handrail assembly has a post which preferably extends in front of the front face when the rows of seating are in the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20030224194
Abstract: The invention is a polymer system used in the formation of thick polymer sheets. The polymer system has a substitution of syndiotactic polypropylene, syndiotactic ethylene propylene copolymer or poly-1-butene for the typical isotactic polypropylene. These substitutions are present in the amount of at least 20% by weight of the total polymer content. The polymer sheet may be filled or unfilled.

  • Patent number: 4000586
Abstract: A seating system includes a plurality of telescoping seating sections each including a platform and a rear riser. The rear riser for each seating section includes an elongated continuous metal extruded riser beam which defines a longitudinal slot for mounting the rear legs of folding chairs. The nose portion of each platform also contains a slotted, extruded beam which is located directly above the riser beam of a lower seating section when the system is opened for use. The slots facilitate installation and alignment of the chairs, while the extruded nose and riser beams cooperate to provide rigidity and support for opened seating sections. Additional elements such as hand rails, aisle lights, etc. may be mounted to the slots.

  • Patent number: 3964215
Abstract: In a telescoping seating system with folding handrails, the posts for the handrails are mounted to the side of the seating row sections; and the posts are inclined at an acute angle relative to the vertical. Upper and lower telescoping rail assemblies are both pivotally mounted by means of a vandalproof lock at the inner side of the posts so that the upper rail assembly is located directly above the lower one. Architectural end rails may be mounted to the top and bottom posts, if desired, using the same locking hardware.
