Abstract: Systems and methods herein provide a transportable shelter that is retractable while not in use (e.g., traveling, storage, and the like), is fully supported by a vehicle while being hauled without the use of tow wheels, and can be supported and transported by any automobile regardless of its make and/or model. Further, the transportable shelter is expandable while in use (e.g., housing a person therein) and provides shelter from external environmental elements (e.g., rain, wind, temperatures, sun, strangers, bugs, animals, pests, and the like).
