Abstract: A mobile communication devices operates to: generate first control data to control an auxiliary device coupled to one of a plurality of home automation devices; establish a group of the plurality of home automation devices; generate second control data corresponding to the group to control the plurality of auxiliary devices associated with the group of the plurality of home automation devices; establish tasks, via user interaction with the graphical user interface, the tasks each having an associated action to be performed by one or more of the plurality of home automation devices; display a menu of the tasks; receive selection of a selected task; and generate third control data in response to selection of the selected task, transmits the third control data to the one or more of the plurality of home automation devices associated with the selected task to perform the associated action corresponding to the selected task.

Abstract: A mooring tube with a rope slidingly held within the bore of the tube and configured to form an adjustable circumference capture loop held at one end of the tube and being capable of engaging and tightening around a mooring post or deck cleat by a person on a boat for aid in docking and mooring the boat is presented. In some embodiments the tube has an adjustable length to hold the capture loop extended a distance from the end of the tube. In some embodiments boating accessory implements may be attached to the end of the mooring tube.

Abstract: An improved apparatus for the loading of pallets with tiers of cartons. The apparatus of the present invention utilizes three star wheels, one to divide a feed line or single file of cartons into two rows and a pair of star wheels rotatable about axes normal to the path of the cartons in the two rows for varying the position of cartons on conveyors forming the tiers. The tiers, after being formed, are stacked on a pallet. The pallets are supported on an elevator to be lowered from the tier-forming station. New pallets are introduced at the tier-forming station while a loaded pallet is being discharged from the palletizing machine. The machine which forms the tiers is in an elevated position and each tier is formed in the tier-forming station by cartons fed from each side of the tier.
