  • Publication number: 20160267349
Abstract: Examples of the disclosure enable multi-frame processing of images to be efficiently performed. In some examples, one or more interest points are identified in a plurality of images. One or more features are extracted from the one or more interest points using an extraction algorithm. Based on the one or more extracted features, the plurality of images are registered to generate a plurality of registered images. The registered plurality of images are combined to generate a composite image. Aspects of the disclosure facilitate increasing speed, conserving memory, reducing processor load or an amount of energy consumed, and/or reducing network bandwidth usage.

  • Patent number: 7913157
Abstract: A method and system is provided for the creation and playback of multiple independently produced and distributed media intended for synchronized playback. One embodiment of the invention overcomes variances in independently produced and distributed media that make accurate synchronization impossible today. The system utilizes both authoring and playback processes. During authoring, a relative virtual time code profile is generated based on the original source media in a defined associated media set. The system employs an extensible framework of multiple synchronization recognizers that analyze the source media to generate a relative virtual time code profile for the associated media set. During playback, the system's client can access the relative virtual time code profile to coordinate the synchronized playback of an associated media set. The system generates an absolute time code using the available associated media and the original relative virtual time code profile.

  • Patent number: 6072486
Abstract: A system and method for creating and customizing an architectural component, namely a deskbar. The deskbar may simultaneously contain toolbars and toolbar components from multiple application programs, and may exist in an application window or on the desktop. This allows a user to select toolbar components or entire toolbars from one or more application programs and house these toolbars or toolbar components in a single deskbar. Users may also create new deskbars and populate them with selected toolbars and toolbar components. The user is then able to use these tool bar components and toolbars to perform their standard functions at any time without being required to directly access the specific application program that is associated with the toolbar component or toolbar. The user is also able to resize, move, and delete deskbars as desired by direct manipulation.
