  • Publication number: 20260127957
Abstract: Embodiments of leveraging a large language model (LLM) for universal dispatch messaging is described. A computer aided dispatch (CAD) message describing an event is received from a dispatch service of a plurality of dispatch services. The CAD message is in a first format, and at least some of the plurality of dispatch services generate CAD messages that are in a different format. The LLM is prompted to generate a structured message from the CAD message. The LLM may be prompted, based in part on the CAD message, to generate announcement text. An event record is stored that includes the structured message and may also include the announcement text. User devices are identified that are associated with users based in part on content of the structured message. Alerts are provided of the event to the user devices based in part on the structured message and user preferences of the users.

  • Publication number: 20240390884
Abstract: A carousel assembly is designed to fit into a universal access port of a conditioning enclosure and includes a frame and a panel. The panel is pivotable between a first position, in which a first specimen location is inside the conditioning space and a second specimen location is outside the conditioning space, and a second position, in which the second specimen location is inside the conditioning space and the first specimen location is outside the conditioning space. A sealing door is movable between an open position that permits rotation of the panel and a closed position that blocks rotation of the panel. Preferably, one of the first and second specimen locations is accessible from outside the conditioning enclosure when the sealing door is in the closed position. The carousel assembly can be used to perform a method of conducting environmental testing on a first test specimen and a second test specimen.

  • Patent number: 11460560
Abstract: A sensor apparatus for photon sensing comprises a plurality of pixel devices, each pixel device comprising: a plurality of photon detectors arranged to produce photon detection signals in response to photon detection events; a processing resource configured to process photon detection signals to produce photon detection event signals, wherein each photon detection event signal comprises time data representative of a photon detection time at which a respective photon detection event occurred; a pixel memory; a further processing resource configured to process the photon detection event signals to obtain detection data representative of photon detection events over a detection period; a communication resource for transmitting the detection data from the pixel device, wherein the processing of the photon detection event signals is such that storing and/or transmission of the detection data uses less storage capacity and/or communication capacity than would be used by storage and/or transmission of the photon det

  • Publication number: 20210022659
Abstract: A wearable device comprising a data logger, a motion sensor, and a memory component is disclosed for recording motion data. The motion sensor may detect movement of the device when worn by a subject, and the memory component may store motion data from the motion sensor. A casing may be included for retaining the data logger and providing a contact barrier between at least part of the data logger and the subject. The contact barrier may substantially prevent contact contamination of at least part of the data logger while the device is worn by the subject for collection and storage of subject-specific motion data. The casing is controllably accessible to release the data logger in a substantially uncontaminated state.

  • Patent number: 7673916
Abstract: An end effector includes a base part and a first member. The first member includes first, second, and third serially articulated struts. The first strut articulates with the base part for relative angular displacement about a first pitch axis and about a first roll axis. The first roll axis is substantially orthogonal to the first pitch axis. The second strut articulates with the first strut for relative angular displacement about, firstly, a first yaw axis substantially orthogonal to the first pitch axis and the first roll axis, and, secondly, about a second pitch axis substantially parallel to the first pitch axis and substantially orthogonal to the first yaw axis. The third strut articulates with the second strut for relative angular displacement about a second yaw axis substantially parallel to the first yaw axis.

  • Publication number: 20080091309
Abstract: This application describes completely in many unique ways and detail all the devices to reduce a vehicle's speed and/or reduce a machines RPMs and/or stop any piece of equipment's as well as guide it if mobile through automated controls. First to slow it down, and guide it and/or control it if necessary (i.e., other pieces of equipment). Secondly it discusses how to stop any piece of equipment completely. And thirdly, the invention secures it in a safe stationary position either entirely or any number of specific moving parts. Many of these systems are initially here described to slow, reduce speed, steer, stop and/or secure equipment functions. However, they also can be used to increase a piece of equipment's functions. In other words their variations are completely capable to serve any remote or automated controls on a vehicle in the future to provide full robotics systems, e.g., for automated transportation systems, automated manufacturing, etc.

  • Publication number: 20070186157
Abstract: A system and methods for simultaneous editing of a document by two or more users are disclosed. The document is divided into a number of sections. Each section is stored in a separate data container, which is part of a document tree. A master copy of the document tree is accessible to a server which transmits all or part of the document tree to two or more clients, each of which is operated by a user. The clients can independently lock different sections, allowing the users to simultaneously edit different sections. When a user completes editing a section, the modified section is stored on the master server and broadcast to other users. The document tree is headed by an independently lockable and editable parent container which is used to store summary information and other information, such as default formatting and other document wide information.
