  • Patent number: 5670743
Abstract: A wiring assembly for mounting on an exposed surface of a wall or wall panel to supply electrical power to the wall or wall panel. The wiring assembly includes a plurality of conductive bus bars and an insulating support having a base and a plurality of generally parallel dividers extending upwardly from the base to define a plurality of slots therebetween. Each slot is configured to receive a conductive bus bar therein. The support is coupled to said exposed surface. The assembly also includes at least one cover and at least one outlet coupled to the support. The at least one cover and the at least one outlet are situated over the plurality of dividers to shield the plurality of conductive bus bars situated in the plurality of slots. The at least one cover and the at least one outlet are adjacent one another on the support.

  • Patent number: 5381994
Abstract: A universal base for modular wall panels of various thicknesses includes two spaced-apart members with a bracket rotatably disposed therebetween. The members are coupled to a pair of legs which support a threaded member for supporting a wall panel thereon. A wiring harness may be mounted to the rotatable brackets from either side of the wall panel. The vertical location of the support for the wall panel and the spaced-apart members and bracket may be varied independently of each other. Accordingly, the vertical location of the wall panel and the vertical location of the wiring harness may be varied independently of each other. The spaced-apart members further include an arrangement for attaching a cover plate thereto. The top portion of the cover plate is flexible and inwardly biased so as to accommodate wall panels of varying thicknesses.

  • Patent number: 5160276
Abstract: A wiring arrangement for providing communication channels to a plurality of workstations includes multiple communication connector having respectively n terminals at each of the plurality of workstations. A plurality of modular wiring assemblies are serially arranged between the workstations. Each wiring assembly comprises first and second connectors, each having m terminals, connected by wires in permutated fashion such that the m.sup.th terminal of the first connector is connected to the m.sup.th +i terminal of the second connector, where i is a positive or negative integer. The first connector of each assembly matingly engages the second connector of an adjacent assembly at each workstation. Terminals of the communication connectors are connected to selected terminals of the first and second connectors so as to provide voice and data communications to each workstation.

  • Patent number: 4159580
Abstract: A grain drying bin is disclosed having a simplified structural supporting system and which provides rapid drying of stored grains. An upper truncated pyramidal shaped housing section has at least three inwardly sloping planar side walls and a horizontal roof portion with a grain entry port. A lower inverted truncated pyramidal shaped housing section having the same number of planar inwardly sloping side walls is provided. The two housing sections directly join to one another with the lower housing section being substantially supported in a cavity in the ground. Ventilation panels are mounted substantially parallel to and at a predetermined spacing from the side walls and floor portion of the lower housing section. A hot gas inlet aperture is provided to permit the entry of heated gas into the spaces between the side walls and the ventilation panels.

  • Patent number: 4136644
Abstract: A tube heat exchanger having a substantially cylindrical housing, a pair of adjacent cylindrical headers disposed in the housing, and a multiplicity of downwardly extending U-shaped heat exchanger tubes connecting the headers to one another, one of the headers being an inlet header and the other thereof being an outlet header, both of the headers being connectible to pressurized water lines of a pressurized water nuclear reactor, includes a feedwater supply connected to the housing below the outlet header for supplying a quantity of feedwater into the housing up to a given level partly filling the housing during operation of the heat exchanger, the heat exchanger tubes extending upwardly from the outlet header above the given feedwater level and being formed with a U-shaped bend located above the given level.
