Abstract: A method of bonding a chip to a wafer at precise alignment suitable for fabricating a heater chip in an ink jet printhead is provided. The method includes spray coating an adhesive composition on a surface of a substrate, aligning and tacking at least one chip to the substrate coated with the adhesive composition, exposing the substrate tacked with at least one chip coated with the adhesive composition to radiation and heat, and performing thermal compression bonding. The method uses a spray coatable adhesive composition comprising a thermally activated adhesive and a photoacid generator.

Abstract: A spray coatable adhesive composition used for bonding silicon dies to a rigid substrate, preferable a silicon substrate is disclosed. The adhesive composition includes an epoxy based resin, a thermal acid generator, a photoacid generator and a solvent. The epoxy based resin includes a mixture of a solid bisphenol A epoxy resin and a liquid or semi-liquid hydrogenated bisphenol A epoxy resin at a weight ratio ranging from about 80:20 to about 65:35. The adhesive composition has a low viscosity which allows it to be spray coated on a rigid substrate and form thin film adhesive which allows silicon dies to be bonded with precise placement on the silicon substrate.

A valve and valve seat assembly is provided for selectively preventing and permitting fuel to pass from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet. The valve seat is defined by a tubular body and a valve seat that traverses an inside wall surface of the tubular body. An upstream face of the valve seat is downstream of an upstream end of the tubular body and a downstream face of the valve seat is upstream of a downstream end of the tubular body. At least one passage is provided through the tubular body beginning downstream of the downstream face of the valve seat and upstream of the downstream end of the tubular body. A cover may be disposed at the downstream end of the tubular body.

Abstract: In various embodiments, digital manufacturing of jewelry items is provided, including a physical process and software automation for implementing the physical process. Further, models formed during the process, as well as the resultant jewelry items, are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises forming a digital model of the jewelry item, forming a physical model of the jewelry item based on the digital model, and manufacturing the jewelry item in a lost wax process using the physical model.

The method and system provide an extensible markup language (XML) representation of real transaction instance data collected from a data collection agent, provide an XML based rule engine that enables a user to define a classification rule for classifying the real transaction instance data, and provide a user interface to enable the user to navigate among the real transaction instance data to define the classification rule.

Abstract: An automotive vehicle is disclosed with a pillarless door opening for occupant ingress and egress. The first door is pivotally connected to the vehicle at a first end with a second end that extends to a central region of the door opening in the closed position. A second door has a first end translatably connected to the vehicle and a second end translatably connected to the vehicle adjacent to the central region of the opening at a closed position. The first door and the second door cooperate to close the opening. The second door can be translated relative to the vehicle to an intermediate position for providing clearance from the first door. One of the second door ends is detachable from the vehicle for pivoting the second door to an open position.

The input subcircuit is configured to supply a pulsed input signal. The capacitor free leaky integrator subcircuit is configured to supply a parasitic capacitance and to utilize the parasitic capacitance to provide differing time constants for the rising and falling edges of an output signal produced in response to the pulsed input signal. The output switching subcircuit s configured to, upon receipt of a sufficient output signal from the capacitor free leaky integrator subcircuit, switch off the input subcircuit and to release a neuron firing signal.

The assemblies provide hardened wearing surfaces made from powdered metal with manufacture simplified by the fastener inserts received in openings formed parallel to the other major surfaces of the powdered metal components.
