    Abstract: A method and apparatus for analyzing passenger flow. A three-dimensional model of a passenger cabin is received. Features in the three-dimensional model of the passenger cabin are identified in response to receiving the three-dimensional model. A first plurality of objects is generated for the features in the passenger cabin. User input identifying a number of characteristics for passengers is received. A second plurality of objects for the passengers is generated using the number of characteristics. The second plurality of objects is assigned to seats within the passenger cabin. Each of the second plurality of objects is assigned a destination location and has a behavior when encountering an obstacle while moving from a current location to the destination location. A movement of the passengers to a number of locations relative to the seats assigned to the passengers is simulated using the second plurality of objects.

    Abstract: A fishing chair mounts directly in the sandy bottom of a relatively shallow surf. A vacuum pump pulls a base pole down into the sand to form a sturdy foundation, even in rough surf conditions. A seat assembly is mounted at the upper end of the base pole. The chair mount may be fabricated from composite materials or plastic, such as PVC, to prevent corrosion. The chair mount is also provided with a foot rest or step that is braced against the base pole. The surf fishing chair is positioned above the waves under normal surf conditions, but also withstands larger wave impacts while safely supporting a fisherman in the seat structure. Other features include adjustable fishing pole holders, a tackle box, a bait box, a bait cutting surface, a fish net holder, and a fish stringer and basket.

    Abstract: A crew systems module for providing normal ingress to and egress from an aircraft cockpit flight station includes a seat assembly for supporting a crew member and a shell which supports the seat assembly and is pivotally attached to the aircraft adjacent the cockpit. The shell is pivotal from a closed position placing the crew member in a flight-ready position to an ingress/egress position placing the crew member in a generally standing position. The shell in the ingress/egress position extends downward from the cockpit toward the ground. The shell preferably extends downward through the aircraft's wheel well which houses a folding or collapsible landing gear during flight. The crew systems module may be incorporated in a capsule which is separable from the aircraft in an emergency.
