  • Publication number: 20200397893
Abstract: Compositions and methods for inducing PD-L1 internalization are disclosed. The methods include reducing the amount of cell surface PD-L1 by contacting a cell expressing PD-L1 with a compound that binds to cell surface PD-L1 and induces PD-L1 internalization. Compounds that induce PD-L1 internalization can be used to enhance, stimulate and/or increase an immune response and treat a PD-1-related disease or condition.

  • Publication number: 20060254777
Abstract: A vapor recovery apparatus for oil and gas well production that is used in combination with a liquid separator, a sales line and a holding tank includes a compressor, which is drivingly linked to an engine. A first conduit extends from fluid communication with the holding tank to a compressor inlet, while a second conduit extends from a compressor outlet to fluid communication with the sales line. The vapor recovery apparatus also has an electronic controller that is connected to the engine and to a pressure sensor, which is in fluid communication with the gas in the tank.

  • Patent number: 7025336
Abstract: Particulates are removed from a gas stream by contact with a liquid. The gas stream is conveyed through an inlet channel, towards a liquid reservoir which is located below a perforated sheet. Gas flowing through holes in the sheet creates a pressure drop between the inlet channel and an outlet area above the sheet. This pressure drop draws liquid up from the reservoir, through a relatively narrow liquid transfer channel, so that the liquid covers the sheet. Gas flowing through holes in the sheet therefore encounters a layer of liquid located immediately above the sheet. Particulates in the gas are captured by the liquid in this layer. The device requires no pump for moving the liquid through the system, the liquid being transferred solely as a result of the pressure drop induced by the flow of gas.

  • Publication number: 20020081632
Abstract: This invention relates to electrophoretic assays useful for the detection of conformational changes in integrin structure upon binding of antagonists, agonists or ligands. Such assays are useful to identify drug candidate compounds that may have a high potential for side reactions when administered in patients.

  • Patent number: 6245998
Abstract: A cable management assembly for use with equipment racks wherein equipment panels are fastened along vertical mounting rails of the rack. In one embodiment, the assembly includes an elongated trough having a back wall, a bottom wall and a front wall. The back wall is constructed to be fastened to the mounting rails of the equipment rack, and the bottom wall extends a sufficient distance forward so that the trough accommodates wire or fiber optic cables terminated at one or more equipment panels fastened to the rack above the back wall of the trough. A door has its bottom edge hinged to the front wall of the trough, and the door extends at a first position to protect cables terminated at one or more equipment panels mounted on the rack above the back wall of the trough. The door can be swung to a second position to permit access to the cables and the panels at which they terminate.

  • Patent number: 6155881
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly has a terminal housing, and a number of electrically conductive connector assembly terminals supported by the housing. The connector assembly terminals have mid-sections that protrude from the housing for contacting terminals of a mating connector, and outside connection ends for making electrical connections with outside circuits. Free ends of the connector assembly terminals next to the terminal mid-sections and opposite the outside connection ends, are positioned inside the terminal housing. An electrical circuit component is mounted inside the terminal housing. The circuit component is connected to the free ends of the assembly terminals, so that the mating connector becomes electrically connected to the circuit component through paths between the mid-sections and the free ends of the assembly terminals, in proximity to the circuit component.

  • Patent number: 6053764
Abstract: A patch panel and a distribution module for mounting thereon has at least one aperture in the panel into which the module is fitted. The aperture has sloped latching surfaces on its upper and lower edges, and the front housing of the module has spring latches and latching tabs for mounting to the panel. A circuit board has spring blocks thereon, at least one of which engages a corresponding spring latch to prevent its becoming disengaged from the panel. A rear housing latches to the rear of the front housing to hold the circuit board in place therebetween. An identifying label holder is adapted to be affixed to the front of the front housing of the module.
