  • Patent number: 5791010
Abstract: A new HEATED WINDSHIELD WIPER for melting snow and ice accumulation off of the windshield wipers of a vehicle. The inventive device includes a wiper arm having an elongate main articulation bow and a pair of elongate carrier bows each pivotally coupled to one of a pair of spaced apart a pivot mounts on the main articulation bow. The wiper arm also includes a wiper blade is mounted to the pair of carrier bows. A heating member having a elongate heating element and an elongate reflector is located between the pivot mounts of the main articulation bow so that the heating member is interposed between the main articulation bow and the wiper blade. The heating element is also spaced apart from the wiper blade so that the reflector is interposed between the main articulation bow and the heating element.

  • Patent number: 5099342
Abstract: The light source assembly dimensions to be removably positioned within a standard scanning drum utilized in the graphic arts industry, the assembly having a housing containing a 5000K light source, the housing have a viewing lens secured to the housing, the viewing lens rotatable from a closed position to an open position, the closed position permitting the insertion of the light source assembly into the scanner drum and the open position expanding to the lens to approximate the circumference of the scanner drum, the lens being of a flexible diffused material, thereby providing a 5000K light source from within the scanner drum illuminating the transparencies to be examined and viewed which are on the outer circumference of the scanner drum.

  • Patent number: 4650333
Abstract: A non-contact system for detecting printed circuit wiring defects and for measuring circuit feature height relative to a substrate. The system has an energy source for illuminating the substrate and circuit features and a scanner for both instantaneously receiving energy reflected from the substrate and circuit features and for generating a signal in response to the reflected energy, which signal is adapted to vary with the intensity of the reflected energy. An analyzer is connected to the scanner for correlating the generated signal to a measurement representative of the height of the circuit features relative to the substrate. Variations and non-uniformity of the substrate surface due to bending, warpage or other causes can be accounted for so as to provide an accurate measurement of the height of a circuit feature relative to the substrate surface on which it is mounted.

  • Patent number: 4146067
Abstract: An apparatus for handling dough and other viscous materials comprises a support having a suction tube which opens into a container for the viscous mass, e.g. dough to be portioned for use in a bakery. A movable member, e.g. a slide or turntable, is disposed on the support and is shiftable from a position in which its cylinder communicates with the duct and into a position remote from the duct in which the cylinder is adapted to deposit the viscous material. The cylinder is provided with a piston which draws a portion of the material from the duct into the cylinder, this portion being carried along with the cylinder to its remote location in which operation of the piston is reversed to dispense the portion of the material.
