    Abstract: A continuous inkjet ink composition includes a solvent, fluoropolymer, a fluorosurfactant, and a colorant. A conductivity salt can also be included. A dispersion resin and/or dispersant can also be included. The continuous inkjet ink is suitable for printing on a fluoropolymer substrate, such as poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE), with an inkjet printer and curing by heating. The ink can be made by mixing together the solvent, fluoropolymer, fluorosurfactant, and colorant, and optionally the conductivity salt, dispersion resin, and/or dispersant and filtering the mixture.

The inkjet inks include at least one resin selected from the group consisting of a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin and a copolyester resin; at least one colorant; and a solvent mixture that includes acetone and at least one additional solvent selected from the group consisting of tertiary butyl acetate and parachlorobenzotrifluoride. Also described are methods of printing indicia with inkjet inks.
