  • Patent number: 9080070
Abstract: A continuous inkjet ink composition includes a solvent, fluoropolymer, a fluorosurfactant, and a colorant. A conductivity salt can also be included. A dispersion resin and/or dispersant can also be included. The continuous inkjet ink is suitable for printing on a fluoropolymer substrate, such as poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE), with an inkjet printer and curing by heating. The ink can be made by mixing together the solvent, fluoropolymer, fluorosurfactant, and colorant, and optionally the conductivity salt, dispersion resin, and/or dispersant and filtering the mixture.

  • Patent number: 7432316
Abstract: Inkjet inks that include a solvent, a thermoplastic resin, a urethane resin ,a first colorant, and a second colorant. When printed onto a surface of an article, the first and second colorant migrate into the article, thereby producing a resilient image. Also described methods of applying indicia with the inkjet inks and articles that include an image printed with the inkjet inks.
