Abstract: A liner tube is provided for repairing a main pipe line having a lateral pipe line connected thereto. The liner tube assembly includes a liner tube impregnated with a liquid material capable of curing and hardening. The liner tube includes a gasket or junction band positioned about the juncture of the pipe lines. The gasket or bands form a tight seal between the liner tube and the pipe line. Hydrophilic containment bands are positioned over a portion of the gasket or junction band and around the main liner on either side of the juncture of the pipe lines.

Abstract: A method and assembly for establishing or repairing the connection between a main pipe and a lateral pipe. The assembly includes a pipe saddle device having a curved plate with a first side and a second side. The second side of the curved plate is adapted to engage the main pipe. A gasket is combined with the second side of the curved plate and adapted to help create a seal between the curved plate and the pipe. The assembly further includes mechanical fasteners for securing the pipe saddle device to the pipe.

Abstract: The pipe access device is comprised of a curved plate adapted to engage an underground pipe along an arc of the outer surface of the pipe, and a boss extending upwardly from the curved plate about an aperture in the curved plate. The boss is adapted to receive an extension pipe. The boss includes a flange adapted to engage ad end of the extension pipe. A gasket is combined with the flange to help seal the connection between the boss and the extension pipe. The pipe access device is for use in providing access to the buried pipe that requires minimal excavation and disruption of the soil.

The assembly includes a liner impregnated with a liquid material capable of curing and hardening. The liner is combined with a band assembly having a first band member and a second band member combined with connecting members. The band assembly helps forma tight seal between the liner and the pipe line.
