    Abstract: A reverse-osmosis separator module includes a pre-formed shell housing having a longitudinal axis extending between opposite ends and defining an inner chamber. A reverse-osmosis separator element is telescopically disposed in the inner chamber, and includes a permeate tube extending along the longitudinal axis and a membrane construction spirally wound around the permeate tube. An end cap is located at each end of the pre-formed shell housing.
