Abstract: A tool to install a pipe into a manhole includes: an expansion band adapted to be inserted inside the boot; a bracket connected to the expansion band; an expansion link, adapted to urge the expansion band to expand; a removable bolt to releasably connect the expansion link to the bracket; and a nut to releasably retain the bolt to the expansion link and the bracket. The expansion link urges expansion of the expansion band so that the pipe may be installed into the rubber boot on a manhole, and then the nut and bolt are removed, thereby releasing the tool from the manhole.
