  • Publication number: 20180266749
Abstract: The current invention is a current invention is a self-cooling cooler that combines a miniaturized version of absorption refrigeration with a container such as a traditional ice chest/cooler. The cooling system created by the combination of an absorption refrigeration system with the ice chest/cooler. The boiler in the present invention's absorption refrigeration is fired by a vaporizer, powered by a rechargeable battery. The refrigeration system is connected to the body of the cooler using connection means such as screws. The refrigeration system keep the inside of the cooler cool.

  • Publication number: 20150130103
Abstract: A method of making a foam manikin with a stand is provided. The method includes sculpting a sculpture of the manikin and forming the sculpture around a mating portion. Then a mold is formed using the sculpture. The mold may include an opening that is formed around the mating portion. The mold may be made in a plurality of pieces and may be taken apart and put back together. To form the manikin, the mold is secured around the mating portion and the mold is filled with a foam. Once filled with foam, the manikin is formed with at least a portion of the mating portion embedded within. The mating portion may be releasably attached to a stand so that the manikin may stand in an upright position.

  • Patent number: 5710532
Abstract: A solenoid having a controlled rate of motion is provided. The solenoid includes a housing having a channel disposed therein, a coil disposed around the channel for providing an electromagnetic force in response to a current being supplied therethrough, and a plunger disposed within the channel and movable between a first position and a second position in response to the presence or absence of the electromagnetic force. A dampener is linked to the plunger which creates an atmospheric pressure differential as the plunger moves to one or both of the first position or the second position which pressure differential acts to slow the rate of movement of the plunger.

  • Patent number: 5497994
Abstract: A pinball game using a pinball adapted to be propelled along a playfield is provided. The pinball game includes a target mounted above the playfield and first and second movable objects mounted above the playfield which are movable between a closed position wherein the first and second movable objects are disposed substantially adjacent to each other and an open position wherein the first and second movable objects are disposed substantially apart from each other. A solenoid having a plunger movable between an extended position and a retracted position in response to contact of the target by the pinball. An arm rotatable about a pivot point having first and second ends displaced from the pivot point is linked to the plunger at a point spaced from the pivot point. A first link connects the first end of the arm to one of the movable objects and a second link connecting the second end of the arm to the other of the movable objects.
