  • Patent number: 11918332
Abstract: An inductive sensing device comprises first (16) and second (24) loops, the first loop (16) being coupled with a capacitor to form a resonator circuit (20), and the resonator circuit and second loop being coupled via an active buffering component (28). The active buffering component provides voltage to current amplification, and an output of the buffering component drives a current in the second loop. Conductive lines forming each of the first and second loop parts are radially spaced apart.

  • Publication number: 20130251147
Abstract: A system and method for automatically creating lexicon word cryptograms from encrypted message information for securely transporting a message via electronic mail, electronic phone messaging, and social media network electronic posting, or blogs via intranet and internet communication systems from any computing stationary or mobile device. The cryptogram message allows for message privacy between the sender and recipient and excluding unintended recipients from detecting and viewing the original message. It lowers the risk of third party invasion of privacy through external systems used in transmission, caching, and storage of messages regardless if the communication system uses encrypted transmission.

  • Patent number: 7713224
Abstract: An ankle brace is made to be very comfortable and easy to use while still providing sufficient support.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7615026
Abstract: An ankle brace provides a variety of features that contribute to comfort, stability, and support. One embodiment provides thin, elongated gripping surfaces on the bottom of the brace, to reduce the opportunity for the brace to slip relative to the wearer's shoe. One embodiment provides substantially horizontal strap-receiving slots in the forefoot area, which; pull the foot down, toward the bottom of the brace, not relying on the shoe to hold the foot down against the brace.

  • Patent number: 7524295
Abstract: An ankle brace may be convertible so it can be used at various stages of treatment, from functioning as a splint when the ankle is first injured, to functioning as a pivoting, relatively non-restrictive protective brace after the ankle has fully healed. The brace also may have a pivoting buckle with the range of pivoting motion of the buckle being limited to provide for the brace to adapt to the wearer while still providing stability and support.

  • Patent number: 6129695
Abstract: The present invention provides an athletic brace in which the brace and a protective attachment are secured together as a single, unitary piece without stitching or glue. The protective attachment can have an intricate shape to fit around a moving body part, thereby permitting the therapeutic and protective use of braces that could not be achieved before. The protective attachment is anatomically secured in relation to a selected body part, and may provide control to an unstable joint, decrease stress to an over-worked tendon, provide pain relief to a sore muscle, and pad the area against impact that could cause further damage. An alternative embodiment of the present invention provides for a cushioned protective attachment on the brace to be protected by a protective shell brace.

  • Patent number: 6053884
Abstract: An ankle brace includes a heel stirrup including a base and left and right upright portions. Left and right pivot legs are pivotably connected to the left and right uprights, respectively. A cuff joins the left and right pivot legs. The left and right portions of the cuff preferably are pivotably connected to each other. The sides of the heel stirrup are tapered to provide maximum stability with minimum interference with the foot.
