  • Patent number: 11935629
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods for identifying a set of fluorophore-biomolecule reagent pairs for characterizing a sample by flow cytometry. Methods according to certain embodiments include calculating a spectral spillover spreading parameter for a plurality of fluorophores, pairing each fluorophore with a biomolecule that is specific for a biomarker of a cell in the sample to generate a plurality of fluorophore-biomolecule reagent pairs, generating an adjusted spillover spreading matrix for the fluorophore-biomolecule reagent pairs based on the spectral spillover spreading parameter of each fluorophore and a biomarker classification parameter and identifying an optimal set of fluorophore-biomolecule reagent pairs based on the calculated spillover spreading values from the adjusted spillover spreading matrix. Systems and non-transitory computer readable storage medium for practicing the subject methods are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11774368
Abstract: A light table apparatus and inspection methods are provided for detecting fluid-transmitting defects in heat exchanger plates using light. The method includes positioning the heat exchanger plate on top of a support frame of the apparatus, and covering peripheral portions of the heat exchanger plate with at least one light-shielding element. In some examples, the light-shielding element may be edge mats that cover peripheral portions of the plate, or alternatively, may be a gasket-like template that engages a resilient light seal with profiles of the heat exchanger plate surrounding a central portion thereof. The ambient environment is darkened and illumination units in the support frame are activated, and light energy can only be transmitted through defects in the central portion. Thus, a quick manual inspection process is provided for such plates, and defects as small as 15 microns are accurately detected when using the light table apparatus and inspection methods.

  • Publication number: 20080011995
Abstract: A tensioning device attachable to a fence post to tension or adjust fencing material such as barbed wire spanning between fence posts. The tensioning device includes guides to support the fencing material, a curved member to grasp the fencing material between the guides, a base member, and a tensioning member that cooperates with the curved member to pull the fencing material into a channel formed between the guides. One use of the tensioning device is to tension fencing material that has become slack or has sagged after installation. The tensioning device can be installed on a fence post and operated with conventional tools. In one embodiment, the tensioning device includes a rear channel to allow the device to be slid and positioned over the studs of a conventional “tee” fence post. In another embodiment, the tensioning device includes a flat back surface to accommodate other types of fence posts.

  • Publication number: 20020087579
Abstract: A method, computerized system and Graphical User Interface for creating storing, manipulating and visually depicting heterogeneous multimedia data items, as well as for depicting, identifying, defining and analyzing the relationships between data items. In the preferred embodiment, the data items are clustered into classification data clusters, Master Facets, which may also be interconnected and the relationships for which may also be defined, analyzed and graphically depicted. The nature of the relationships between data items may be any kind of Boolean, logical or even illogical connection or association that is unique to the user.
