  • Patent number: 10465582
Abstract: An injector for injecting a reagent into an exhaust stream includes an outer tube extending through an electromagnet and surrounding an inner tube. A first end of the inner tube is sealingly fixed to an inner surface of the outer tube. A guide member and an orifice plate are each sealingly fixed to the inner surface of the outer tube. A second end of the inner tube is aligned by the guide member. A moveable valve member includes a pintle head guided by the inner surface of the outer tube to align the valve member with an orifice extending through the orifice plate.

  • Patent number: 9683472
Abstract: An injector for injecting a reagent includes an axially translatable valve member positioned within a housing. An electromagnet is positioned within the housing and includes a cylindrically-shaped coil of wire. The valve member moves between a seated position and an unseated position in response to energizing the electromagnet. A flux sleeve passes through the coil and includes two magnetic portions interconnected by a flux bridge portion or a flux break portion. Each of the magnetic portions is aligned with transverse planes defined by the ends of the cylindrical coil. The flux bridge portion or flux break portion is axially positioned between the transverse planes.

An electromagnet is positioned within the housing and includes a cylindrically-shaped coil of wire. The valve member moves between a seated position and an unseated position in response to energizing the electromagnet. A flux sleeve passes through the coil and includes two magnetic portions interconnected by a non-magnetic portion. Each of the magnetic portions is aligned with transverse planes defined by the ends of the cylindrical coil. The non-magnetic portion is axially positioned between the transverse planes.

  • Patent number: 8740113
Abstract: A reagent injector with a cartridge design has a body with a reagent inlet, outlet, and a swirl chamber, which has an exit orifice that may be covered and uncovered by a solid, movable pintle. Reagent flows through the injector when the exit orifice is covered and uncovered to cool the injector. An insulator may be disposed between the injector body and a mounting flange connectable to an exhaust system. A flow path ensures cooling of an electromagnetic actuator. Reagent may bypass an orifice swirl chamber when the pintle blocks the exit orifice. Fluid may flow between an outside diameter of a pole piece and an inside diameter of an electromagnetic actuator, through an orifice chamber and return through a central bore housing a solid pintle, around which fluid may flow. Different inner injector body passages may direct fluid into an orifice distribution chamber and out to the solid pintle.

  • Patent number: 8108277
Abstract: A networked sales method is disclosed that includes presenting price choices to a user for an item on a sales screen via a network. Available supply and sales activity level information about actions by other users for the item for which the price choices are presented can be converted into a feedback indication, and this indication can be conveyed to the user on the sales screen. A variable price schedule for the item can also be communicated to the user, and a reminder command associated with an entry in the schedule can be received from the user, with the reminder command including a price selection for the item. The user can then be notified when the entry in the schedule is reached.

  • Patent number: 7860776
Abstract: Some embodiments include a networked sales method. The method includes presenting, via a first network, item information associated with an item on a sales screen to a user. The method also includes communicating a variable price schedule for the item to the user. The variable price schedule includes a plurality of price selections for the item. The method includes receiving a reminder command associated with a selection of an entry in the variable price schedule from the user. The reminder command includes a price selection from the plurality of the price selections for the item. The method includes notifying the user when the entry in the variable price schedule is reached.
