Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided in order to provide framework for evaluation of expressions on data sets. An example of the method includes generating a first framework object from a set of input data. The first framework object includes a first set of data values and a set of structure data defining at least one dimension for formatting the first set of data values. The first framework object is associated with a set of functions for manipulating the first set of data values. The method also includes determining an expression to be performed on the first framework object. The expression includes at least one operator. The method also includes selecting at least one of the set of functions based on the at least one operator, and evaluating the expression using the selected at least one of the set of functions to manipulate the first set of data values to produce an expression result.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for providing network-accessible patient health records. A method may include generating a patient health record document. The method may further include obtaining a set of one or more symmetric keys from a health record trust entity. The method may additionally include encrypting at least a portion of the patient health record document with the obtained set of symmetric keys. The method may also include causing the encrypted patient health record document to be published to a location on a network. The published encrypted patient health record document may have a resource identifier enabling the published encrypted patient health record document to be accessed over the network. Abstract: A method for providing a patient quality monitor may include transforming patient data from a plurality of sources associated with different healthcare entities into a standard representation using a mapping to tag each piece of patient data to a common ontology, mapping the standard representation to corresponding Java class implementations, and mapping the corresponding Java class implementations to a relational database. A corresponding computer program product and apparatus are also provided.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for facilitating patient progression toward discharge. Once a plurality of progression steps to be completed prior to discharge of a patient have been identified, the plurality of progression steps are displayed along with an indication of a status of a respective progression step that indicates whether the respective progression step has been satisfied or remains unsatisfied. The selection of a progression step is then received and, in response, information regarding the selected progression step is displayed. Input data regarding at least one progression step may also be received such that the indication of the status of the at least one progression step may be correspondingly updated. Further, an updated discharge date may be determined based upon the plurality of progression steps and the respective status of the plurality of progression steps as updated based upon the input data.
