  • Publication number: 20180232720
Abstract: A multi-account payment card (MPC) transaction computing device is configured to receive a first and second transaction request, wherein each transaction request includes a payment card account identifier and a portion of a payment transaction with a merchant to be paid using the payment card account. The MPC transaction computing device then generates a virtual card number (VCN) and transmits the VCN to a user computing device. The MPC transaction computing device further facilitates authorization of the payment transaction by separately conduction authorization for the first payment card account corresponding to the first transaction request and the second payment card account for the second portion of the payment transaction. The MPC transaction computing device then generates a VCN authorization confirmation message and transmits the VCN authorization confirmation message to the merchant.

  • Publication number: 20180152845
Abstract: Users may enroll one or more devices based on device information and a resource information associated with a resource. Such information and identifiers may be tokenized according to a hash algorithm to generate an enrolled user token. This enrolled user token may be utilized to verify communications and status changes of the user device. In response to a change of status of the user, similar information as that used to generate the enrolled user token, or at least a portion thereof, may be gathered from the user device and subjected to the same hash algorithm to generate a current user token. The current user token and the enrolled user token may be compared to determine if the user device is a spoofed device.

  • Publication number: 20180150902
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in facilitating payment account transactions. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a computing device, a biometric from a consumer and matching, by the computing device, the biometric to a merchant included in a data structure, where the merchant is associated with a product catalog including products offered for sale by the merchant. The method also includes returning, by the computing device, in response to the biometric, the product catalog to the consumer, and receiving a selection of a product therein from the consumer. The method then further includes facilitating a purchase transaction for the selected product and transmitting, by the computing device, a transaction confirmation for the purchase transaction to the consumer and/or the merchant, whereby the merchant is able to confirm the purchase transaction via the transaction confirmation and deliver the selected product to the consumer.

  • Publication number: 20180150863
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for promoting consumer interactions with merchants. One exemplary method includes associating a reference biometric to a merchant where the reference biometric is representative of a merchant affiliate associated with the merchant, and storing the reference biometric in a data structure as part of a merchant profile for the merchant. The method also includes receiving, at a computing device, a request from a communication device associated with a consumer where the request involves the merchant and includes a biometric captured by the communication device, and searching in the data structure, by the computing device, for the biometric included in the request. The method further includes, when the biometric included in the request matches the reference biometric representative of the merchant affiliate, responding to the request, by the computing device, with an incentive for purchase of at least one product at the merchant.

  • Publication number: 20180144311
Abstract: A virtual payment account (VPA) management computing device is described, the VPA management computing device configured to generate a jointly funded payment request and store a user-selected control. The VPA management computing device is also configured to establish a VPA associated with the jointly funded payment request, the VPA configured to receive funds from a plurality of payors. The VPA management computing device is further configured to reformat the user-selected controls into corresponding withdrawal restriction rules associated with the VPA, and store the withdrawal restriction rules. The VPA management computing device is also configured to receive a withdrawal request to withdraw at least a portion of the funds in the VPA, the withdrawal request including a plurality of data elements, to compare the data elements with the withdrawal restriction rules, and, when the data elements satisfy the withdrawal restriction rules, to approve the withdrawal request.

  • Publication number: 20180144322
Abstract: A fleet tracking (FT) computing device including a processor and a memory is described. The FT computing device is configured to receive an approval request message for a transaction initiated by a user at a point of sale (POS) device that includes an account identifier, a unique vehicle identifier, and an item identifier. The unique vehicle identifier is emitted by a vehicle and wirelessly communicated to the POS device and is indicative of the vehicle being proximal to the POS device. The FT computing device is also configured to validate the request message by applying validation rules including determining that the account identifier is associated with an account having restriction parameters, and determining that the vehicle and item identifiers are associated with the account. The FT computing device is further configured to embed a validation indicator into the request message and transmit the embedded request message to an issuer.

  • Publication number: 20180121913
Abstract: A geofence computing device for creating and monitoring geofence zones is described herein. The geofence computing device includes a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to receive geofence data from the user device, the geofence data including a user defined geofence zone and a geofence rule. The processor is also configured to receive transaction data. The processor is further configured to determine a geographic location of the merchant. The processor is also configured to retrieve the geofence data from the memory and compare the merchant geographic location to the user defined geofence zone. The processor is further configured to apply the geofence rule based on the comparison of the merchant geographic location to the user defined geofence zone. The processor is also configured to add a flag to the authorization request message indicating whether the transaction satisfies or violates the geofence rule.

  • Publication number: 20170357938
Abstract: A shipping remittance processor may receive periodic checkpoint data packets during shipping of an object, via a handler, along a shipping route. The shipping remittance processor may then analyze tracking information located in the checkpoint data packet to determine if the tracking information is authentic, and if the object has reached a checkpoint along the shipping route. If the object has reached the checkpoint, the shipping remittance processor may output a remittance indication indicating to output a portion of the total delivery remittance to the handler's remittance account.

  • Publication number: 20170345009
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for facilitating network transactions. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a platform computing device, an instruction to initiate a payment account transaction at a consumer computing device and compiling an authorization request based on the instruction. The authorization request includes an account number associated with a payment account, an amount of the payment account transaction, and an identifier unique to the consumer computing device. The method also includes transmitting, by the platform computing device, the authorization request to a payment network. In another aspect, the method further includes determining, by a verification computing device, if the identifier is associated with the payment account in a verification data structure, and when the identifier is not associated with the payment account, causing the transaction to be declined.
