The milled flour and starch are held together by water. A crucial step in the process is coating the product with a microwave heatable substance, preferably oil. It is also important in practice to include spices within the product and in the coating. Prior to microwaving the product it is packaged in a microwavable container which is preferably a breathable plastic such as polyester which is resistant to heat and contains the moisture and heat from the process while not exploding from the pressure.
