    Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus that attaches to a harvester or other farm implements, and when pulled across a harvested field, such as a corn field, the apparatus crushes the stalks left after harvesting. The apparatus has attachment elements, upper and lower, with a spring tensioning therebetween, drag arms within which is a rotatable drum with stalk crushing elements.
