    Abstract: The subject of this disclosure is a brace for a variety of power tools to assist a user in controlling the tool. The brace extends from the power tool, and engages the forearm of the user to offset the pivot moment about the users wrist due to the weight and length of the power tool. The brace is configured to pivot in the horizontal and/or vertical plane to increase the ease of use and comfort of the user and/or to reduce the length of the overall tool and brace for storage.
