Abstract: Provided is a wearable device, system, and method, for providing real-time event notifications. In one example, a wearable device includes at least one light source, a display surface in optical communication with the at least one light source, communication circuitry configured to receive an event message in real-time from a user device, and at least one controller operatively connected to the at least one light source and the communication circuitry, the at least one controller configured to control operation of the at least one light source based on the received event message.
