    Abstract: An improved contaminant shield and method for making the shield, including a frame constructed of interconnected frame members. A double-sided adhesive tape meeting certain temperature-induced and load-induced creep performance characteristics is attached to outside portions of the frame, and flexible sheeting affixed to the adhesive. Single-sided adhesive tape, or other connectors, are applied to seal the joints between the sheets.
