Abstract: A water supply shut-off system is provided that includes a water line, a main shut-off valve, and a valve located downstream from the main shut-off valve that has an open position that allows water to flow through the valve, and a closed position that prevents water flow through the valve. A switch is in electrical communication with the valve through a wired connection. Actuation of the switch causes the valve to open and close. The switch is not in communication with the main shut-off valve. A wall outlet for obtaining electricity is also included and has female receivers. A ground fault interrupter is plugged into the wall outlet and is removably attached to the wall outlet to be capable of being unplugged. A wire is connected to the switch for electricity to flow from the wall outlet to the switch.
