    Abstract: A recreational equipment luggage transport system, an auxiliary transport apparatus, and methods for transporting recreational equipment are provided. The system preferably includes an enlarged main piece of recreational equipment storage luggage having enlarged recreational equipment positioned therein. The enlarged recreational equipment, for example, preferably has a longitudinal extent substantially longer than a standard adult size tennis racket. The main piece of luggage includes a main luggage frame, at least one wheel member connected to a lower end portion of the main luggage frame, a cover connected to the main luggage frame and sized to position large recreational equipment therein, and an auxiliary transport apparatus pivotally connected to the main luggage frame.

    Abstract: A luggage system of the present invention is provided for transporting an additional piece of luggage having a supplementary tow handle when positioned on a piece of wheeled luggage. The luggage system preferably includes a first piece of wheeled luggage including a body, wheels connected to lower end portions of the body, and a wheeled luggage tow handle connected to the body for towing the wheeled luggage. A second piece of luggage detachably mounts to the wheeled luggage tow handle of the first piece of luggage and is positioned to overlie upper portions of the body of the first piece of wheeled luggage. The second piece of luggage preferably includes a body, a handle retainer connected to the body for retaining the wheeled luggage tow handle, and a supplementary towing handle connected to the body for towing the combination of the first and second pieces of luggage. A method for towing a combination of a piece of luggage and a piece of wheeled luggage by a user is also provided.

    Abstract: A modular wheeled luggage system of the present invention has major components particularly sized to be positioned either underneath or in the overhead storage area above a passenger's seat in a passenger compartment of an airplane. A first major component of the luggage system preferably is a first piece of luggage having overall respective length, width, and depth dimensions of no greater than 24-inches by 16-inches by 10-inches. The first piece of luggage includes a body portion, wheels connected to lower end portions of the body portion, and a luggage connector detachably connected to the body portion for detachably connecting additional luggage thereto. A second major component preferably includes second and third pieces of luggage connected together and sized to have overall respective length, width, and depth dimensions no greater than 24-inches by 16-inches by 10-inches.
