  • Patent number: 11983181
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing previews of deployment of data stream processing instructions sets, sometimes called pipelines, to a stream data processing system. Rather than deploying such an instruction set, which may cause detrimental side effects, previews can be facilitated by conversion of a data stream processing instructions set to a batch query that is applied to an existing data set. An output of the batch query can then be provided to an end user as a preview of output of the data stream processing instructions set, when implemented.

  • Publication number: 20190114705
Abstract: A method and system for optimizing use of computer resources in performing multiple automobile transactions for multiple customers which initially preloads a plurality of storage units with inventory data and lender constraints. Input in the form of a customer request is received from at least one customer. The method computes an operational metric whether to adjust the number of storage units to an optimized number of storage units including at least one available storage unit. The method sends a command to adjust the number of storage units to the optimized number of storage units based on the computing step. Each storage unit added is automatically loaded with the inventory data and lender constraints.

  • Patent number: 9456272
Abstract: The disclosure provides a button-press detection and filtering method, related circuit, and button-press detection chip for a external device. A button-press signal from a wire control apparatus is coupled to the button-press detection chip for the external device. The button-press detection chip for the external device can digitally sample the button-press signal through the filter circuit and outputs a digital logic signal corresponding to a button to an audio codec according to the sampling result. The audio codec can determine a pressed button according to the digital logic signal and performs a corresponding function. With the solutions of the disclosure, a noise interference signal in a button-press signal may be avoided and a pressed button may be accurately detected, without using a dedicated chip or complex software codes in a wire control apparatus and an electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20080159292
Abstract: A method of routing a data packet in a communication system includes receiving a data packet at a first communication party operating in accordance with a first protocol. The method also includes adding a header to the data packet to produce modified data packet, the header including an identifier identifying the first protocol, first protocol information, an identifier identifying a second protocol, and second protocol information, and then sending the modified data packet to a second communication party operating in accordance with the second protocol through a first connection.

  • Publication number: 20070118766
Abstract: A method has been developed for enhanced content protection for use in a DVD player or other apparatus where it is desired to store content in a secure manner for personal use and enjoyment. By this technique, a user could input content into an apparatus, and store a single copy of the content in a storage library within the apparatus in encrypted form. When the user is ready to enjoy the content, the user triggers a decryption algorithm to be run on the stored content for viewing, audio or both. The encryption/decryption algorithms are designed to avoid the likelihood of hacking into and retrieving the content from storage. Whereupon, numerous volumes of content may be retrieved for viewing or audio listening with assurance that the content is locked into its storage library.
