  • Publication number: 20260020123
Abstract: A lighting device can be assigned to a light group by a controller. The controller can read a plurality of addresses associated with a plurality of lighting devices. The controller can send a set of addresses of the plurality of addresses to a computing device. Responsive to receiving a first instruction from the computing device that identifies a first address of the set of addresses, the controller can cause a first lighting device of the plurality of lighting devices to emit a first light. Responsive to receiving a second instruction from the computing device, the controller can assign the first lighting device to a first light group.

  • Publication number: 20250354682
Abstract: A pool system includes an underwater lighting assembly installed below a water line of a swimming pool or spa. A method of installing the lighting system in the swimming pool or spa includes guiding a lighting assembly cable through a conduit outlet of a wall fitting, into conduit, and up to a location of a pool transformer. The method includes coupling a lighting assembly with the wall fitting. The lighting assembly is connected to the lighting assembly cable, and a portion of the lighting assembly extends into the conduit. Guiding the lighting assembly cable includes positioning a pre-wound section of the lighting assembly cable with a plurality of turns within the conduit.

  • Patent number: 12446125
Abstract: Methods and systems described herein provide control of a lighting system, such as a pool lighting system. The pool lighting system includes an integrated control device that includes both a transformer and a controller. Lighting devices are powered by power from the transformer using power lines and controlled using power line communication (PLC) signals sent over the same power lines.

  • Patent number: 11802057
Abstract: A sensor system for swimming pools and spas is detailed herein. The sensor system can include one or more sensors positioned in a sensor housing located within a cavity of a pipe and in-line with an inlet and an outlet of the pipe. The sensor housing can divert a portion of water flowing through the cavity to an interior of the sensor housing and to an area around the sensors and maintain at least some of the diverted water in the area around the sensors even if the water is not flowing through or is drained from the pipe.

  • Patent number: 10981808
Abstract: Chlorinators with multiple spaced gas traps and flow sensors are detailed. The sensors also may be protected, at least somewhat, from contact with scale build ups by interposition of a mechanical barrier. Ramps or other geometric restrictions may be used to increase water flow to some or all of the gas traps. Additionally, the chlorinator housing may be configured so as to route, or focus, gases toward a small-sized, high point thereof.

  • Patent number: 10144660
Abstract: Equipment and methods facilitating suitable orientation of salt-water chlorinators (SWCs) relative to the gravitational field of the Earth are detailed. So orienting an SWC in this manner reduces risk that the volume defined by its gas trap would not be accessible to hydrogen gas generated by the SWC in use. An accelerometer may be employed in connection with the SWC to assist in assessing orientation of the SWC relative to the gravitational field of the Earth.
