  • Patent number: 11324460
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an X-ray mammography apparatus includes a breast support, a compression plate, and a compression controller. The breast support where the breast is placed. The compression plate is arranged such that the breast is sandwiched between the breast support and the compression plate. The compression controller is configured to control the breast support to move toward the compression plate so as to compress the breast from below between the breast support and the compression plate.

  • Publication number: 20170360389
Abstract: A medical image diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a compression plate, an X-ray tube, an arm, an X-ray detector, and an ultrasound probe. The compression plate compresses a breast of a subject. The X-ray tube radiates X-rays. The arm holds the X-ray tube and moves, while the X-ray tube radiating the X-rays, an irradiation region of the X-rays in a direction perpendicular to a front-rear direction of the compression plate. The X-ray detector detects the X-rays having passed through the breast of the subject. The ultrasound probe transmits and receives an ultrasound wave, the ultrasound probe being movable in the direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction of the compression plate.

  • Patent number: 9693741
Abstract: A mammographic apparatus that includes X-ray detectors configured to detect X-rays entering the X-ray detectors, and attached to a holding-arm placed on a floor. The mammographic apparatus further includes circuitry configured to move the X-ray detectors between a scanning position and a waiting position. The X-ray detectors in the scanning position face an X-ray tube that generates X-rays across a breast-table, and the X-ray detectors in the waiting position are closer to the holding-arm than are the X-ray detectors in the scanning position.

  • Publication number: 20150139518
Abstract: An image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes an input unit, an identifying unit, and a display control unit. The input unit receives specification of a region of interest (ROI) included in a mammography image. The identifying unit identifies a medical image including a position substantially the same as the position of the ROI received by the input unit in an ultrasound image group acquired from a subject for whom the mammography image is captured. The display control unit performs control such that the medical image identified by the identifying unit is displayed on a display unit.

  • Patent number: 8905636
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an end-of-life detection unit in an X-ray diagnostic apparatus is configured to detect an end of life of a detector on the basis of an output value in an X-ray image, and includes: a luminance-level-value computation unit configured to calculate an amount of X-ray irradiation of the detector on the basis of the output value in an area of interest which is set on any one of the X-ray image and the detector; an irradiation-amount accumulation unit configured to calculate an accumulated amount of irradiation in the area of interest by adding the amount of X-ray irradiation calculated by the luminance-level-value computation unit to a previous amount of X-ray irradiation in the area of interest; and an end-of-life judgment unit configured to make a judgment on the end of life of the detector on the basis of the accumulated amount of irradiation.
