    Abstract: A hand-held device is disclosed which includes an elongated body having a first end, a second end, an exterior surface and a circumference. The elongated body has a cavity formed therein, and at least a portion of the exterior surface creates an ergonomically shaped handle. The hand-held device also includes a tool attached to the first end and an activation mechanism which extends completely around the circumference. The activation mechanism has an outer surface which cooperates with the exterior surface of the elongated body, and the activation mechanism is capable of turning the toll on and off. The hand-held device further includes an electrical circuit positioned within the cavity which connects the activation mechanism to the tool. Lastly, the hand-held device includes a power source for providing power to the electrical circuit when the activation mechanism is turned on.
