    Abstract: A method of and a device for working the sealing edge of a funnel portion for a cathode ray tube during a plurality of working phases. A number of funnel portions are simultaneously worked in successive working units. Each unit comprises a centering device for centering and bringing the funnel portion into a stationary working position. The funnel portions are simultaneously transported from one unit to another by a common transport device.
