  • Publication number: 20240106657
Abstract: A method comprising receiving, at a forum network node, a user request for posting a user message in an internet forum from a user network node. The user network node is associated with a digital identity of the user. The forum network node is associated with a digital identity of the internet forum. The forum network node has an interface to a distributed ledger. The user request indicates a parent post the user message relates to. The parent post is part of the internet forum. The method further comprises generating, at the forum network node, transaction data for the user message and a hash of the transaction data. The transaction data comprises a hash of the user message and a hash of the parent post. The method further comprises writing the hash of the transaction data and the transaction data on the distributed ledger.

  • Publication number: 20230318811
Abstract: A method and apparatus for verifying user credentials. An owner of a non-fungible token (NFT) may sign a verifiable credential with a private key associated with a cryptocurrency address holding the NFT, and then issue the verifiable credential signed with the private key to another entity. The owner of the NFT may assign a public decentralized identifier (DID) to the NFT and register the public DID on a public ledger so that anyone can look up this public DID. The NFT may be identified by the public DID. A public key corresponding to the private key is disclosed in a DID document associated with the public DID. An entity who receives the verifiable credential may obtain the public key from the DID document and verify the verifiable credential using the obtained public key.

  • Publication number: 20230075539
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system for providing an electronic credential associated with electronic identification information of a user. The system comprises one or more electronic sensor devices configured to monitor an activity or a surrounding of the user and to generate user-specific sensor data, processing circuitry configured to analyze the user-specific sensor data to extract characteristic data associated with the user, and to generate a sensed electronic credential confirming the extracted characteristic data; and a memory configured to store the sensed electronic credential as part of the user's electronic identification information.

  • Publication number: 20230070824
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method. The method comprises, at a first user device, receiving user data from a tamper-proof second user device. Further, the method comprises, at the first user device, aggregating the user data according to a first logic and transmitting the aggregated user data and the user data to an external server. The method further comprises, at the external server, verifying whether the first logic, by which the aggregated user data and the user data are related to each other, corresponds to a predefined second logic for verifying a validity of the aggregated user data.

  • Publication number: 20230053767
Abstract: A method for non-intrusively adjusting a virtual environment. The method comprises sensing a physical activity of a user perceiving the virtual environment and determining an emotional state of the user based on the sensed physical activity. Further, the method provides for adjusting the virtual environment using the user's emotional state as non-intrusive in-put by the user to increase and/or not to break the user's immersive experience of the virtual environment.

  • Publication number: 20230010786
Abstract: A data sharing system comprising a first data processing circuitry configured to store the user-specific data of a user. The data sharing system comprises at least one second data processing circuitry configured to store access rights of an external entity to access the user-specific data stored on the first data processing circuitry. The data sharing system comprises an interface between the first data processing circuitry and the second data processing circuitry configured to communicate the access rights from the second data processing circuitry to the first data processing circuitry. The data sharing system also comprises a user interface configured to authenticate the user to the second data processing circuitry for modifying access rights. Additionally, the data sharing system comprises an interface between the first data processing circuitry and the external entity configured to communicate a portion of the user-specific data to the external entity in accordance with the access rights.
