    Abstract: An adjustable and universal grab bar assembly for a tub or the like. The bar assembly includes a bar having a relatively straight central portion and angled ends. The ends rotate within end holders bolted or otherwise secured to the wall of a tub or the like. The configuration of the end holders, and the angularity of the angled ends, is such that the grab bar assembly may be mounted to irregularly shaped surfaces, such as curved, angled, etc., yet provide a suitable space between the bar and the surface to enable a user to grasp the same.
