  • Patent number: 7641270
Abstract: In a car body frame member that couples a front side member and an extension member to each other, a portion thereof extending from a rear portion of the front side member to the extension member is formed as a bent portion that is smoothly curved and inclined downward. A side surface that is continuously extending from the bent portion to the front side member as a straight portion of the car body frame member is continuously formed with a reinforcing bead.

  • Patent number: 7562886
Abstract: In installation structure and method of a vehicular suspension, each of left and right suspension links couples a corresponding one of the left and right side members with the suspension member and is provided with a breakable portion which breaks due to a load generated when the load applied to a forward end portion of at least one of left and right front side members causes a drive unit and a drive shaft to be moved toward a rearward direction of a vehicle body to bring the drive shaft in contact against a corresponding one of the left and right suspension links.

  • Patent number: 6070617
Abstract: A liquid-transferring hose of single-carcass configuration, with a rubber tube layer, main pressure-resistant cord layer and cover rubber layer, in this order from the inside, wherein a transponder installed between the rubber tube layer and cover rubber layer transmits and receives waves of specific frequency, which are attenuated by at least -60 dB when passing through liquid to be transferred, and transmits a response signal on receiving the above waves. This design prevents the response signal transmitted by the transponder, when it is covered with leaked liquid, from being detected, to tell occurrence of liquid leakage, allowing liquid leakage to be easily detected during the initial stage.
