  • Publication number: 20250070843
Abstract: A method performed by a first network node for adapting a radio link to a User Equipment, UE, served by the first network node in a wireless communications network is provided. Respective channel quality measurement resources are pre-allocated for each 5 of one or more neighbouring network nodes for transmitting respective signals of one or more long-term power levels. The long-term power levels are functions of instantaneous power levels of more than one time and frequency resource of a radio link. The first network node configures (601) the UE to perform a channel quality measurement of the signals which are transmitted using the one or more long-term power 10 levels by the one or more neighbouring network nodes in the pre-allocated channel quality measurement resources. The first network node receives (602) a report from the UE. The report reports a first Channel Quality Indicator, CQI.

  • Publication number: 20250056286
Abstract: A technique for controlling a distortion for an interference measurement, IM, by controlling a power in a radio transmission of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing, OFDM, symbols (408, 410) from a network node (100) to a radio device (120) is described. As to a method aspect of the technique, at least one IM symbol (410) out of the OFDM symbols (408, 410) is transmitted (202) from the network node (100) to the radio device (120). The at least one IM symbol (410) comprises zero power resource elements, ZP RES (412; 414), and zero or more non-zero power resource elements, NZP REs (418), wherein a set (412) of the ZP REs (412; 414) is allocated to the IM at the radio device (120), and wherein the power in subcarriers (402) outside of the set (412) and in each of the at least one IM symbol (410) is less than or equal to a power in the subcarriers (402) outside of the set (412) and in another symbol (408) out of the OFDM symbols (408, 410) other than the at least one IM symbol (410).

  • Publication number: 20250030589
Abstract: Methods and arrangements (110; 100; 130; 200; 201; 800; 803) for supporting serving of multiple wireless devices (120a-c) by a radio network node (110) of a wireless communication network (100). It is obtained (502-505; 603-606; 701) channel estimation accuracy degradation information for at least one of the multiple wireless devices (120a-c), wherein said channel estimation accuracy degradation information for respective one of said at least one wireless devices (120a-c) indicates a prediction of a degradation of radio channel estimation accuracy for this wireless device (120a) during TDD downlink slots (4).

  • Publication number: 20240348356
Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for CSI quality triggered determination of AR model order for a channel prediction filter. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises obtaining an indication of declining CSI quality in a radio environment. The method comprises, in response thereto, obtaining an estimation of current channel conditions in the radio environment. The method comprises determining the AR model order based on the estimation of current channel conditions. The method comprises performing channel prediction of the radio environment using the channel prediction filter. The channel prediction filter is defined by an AR model having the determined AR model order.

  • Publication number: 20230412440
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a base station for transmitting synchronisation signals on a plurality of carriers, wherein the base station includes processing circuitry and a machine-readable medium storing instructions which, when executed by the processing circuitry, cause the base station to apply a time shift to at least part of a first synchronisation signal to be sent by the base station on a first carrier of the plurality of carriers such that the at least part of the first synchronisation signal is offset in time from a second synchronisation signal to be sent on a second carrier of the plurality of carriers. The base station is further caused to combine signals for the plurality of carriers, including the first and second synchronisation signals, to form a combined signal, amplify the combined signal using a power amplifier, and transmit the amplified combined signal.
