  • Patent number: 11755861
Abstract: A printing system includes a printing unit, a position determiner that randomly determines a position where a first information code is to be set, a modifier that modifies print data for printing an image, the first information code, and a positional information code having recorded therein positional information at the time of printing that indicates the position determined by the position determiner so that the first information code is set at the position determined by the position determiner, an acquirer that acquires the position of the first information code on a print medium as positional information and acquires the positional information at the time of the printing from the positional information code, and a determiner that determines whether the printing result is a falsified matter based on comparison of the positional information after the printing with the positional information at the time of the printing.

  • Publication number: 20230035758
Abstract: A post-processing device includes a first discharge section that discharges a medium subjected to recording by a recording device, a first tray on which the medium discharged by the first discharge section is mounted, a post-processing section that performs post-processing on the medium mounted on the first tray, a pressing section configured to perform a leading-end pressing operation of lowering a leading end of the medium by pressing the medium discharged by the first discharge section, and a control section that controls the pressing section, in which the control section performs the leading-end pressing operation after the medium is mounted on the first tray.

  • Publication number: 20220380162
Abstract: A post-processing device includes a processing tray, an aligning plate, a transport section, a feeding section, and a pressing section. A sheet before being subjected to stapling processing by a stapler is to be mounted on the processing tray. The aligning plate aligns ends of a plurality of sheets. The transport section transports the sheet toward the aligning plate. The feeding section is provided between the transport section and the aligning plate and feeds the sheet in a transport direction. The pressing section is provided between the transport section and the aligning plate and applies, to the sheet, a pressing force having a component in a direction opposite from the transport direction. Further, the pressing section applies the pressing force to the sheet before the feeding section applies a feeding force to the sheet.
